at the Goodguys Show from Kenny whom runs Kenny`s Trucks. He drove it there from Oklahoma and it didn`t miss a beat averaging 25 mpg. I bought it for myself as a keeper but circumstances have changed and therefore I reluctantly have to sell! Its a real original truck, zero rot anywhere, perfect patina, the body has a few dents here and there and light surface rust and scratches which can be expected from a 44 year old truck. It has the original floor boards in the pick up bed. I have fitted two new chrome bumpers and new rear bumper brackets. It is fitted with new 8" x 15" truck rallys with new centre caps and new 265 60 15 white lettered radials. New tinted screen, new mirrors. On the road it handles and rides very well thanks to its independent coil sprung suspension. It has new CPP 2" drop coil springs all round which give it a nice stance. The 6 cylinder engine is surprisingly responsive and keeps up with modern traffic. It starts every time. It has a brand new carburator and air filter. The gear change is nice and precise and not sloppy. It has just been fitted with new rear brake shoes and cylinders and stops really well. Inside its how I like my trucks, functional with its original bench seat, mat, wind up windows. All gauges, lights and heater work great, which is unusal for these trucks. The truck is UK registered with the V5 in my name, its taxed (FREE) and MOT`d ready to jump in and drive. If you want an original truck that has not been messed about with that you can use everyday then this is for you. It is being sold as I am reducing my collection. about 2 years ago (imports don`t get into Japan in the first place unless they are 100%). I am the only owner from that point. Since then I have replaced the roof, the seals, the fan belt, the rear brake discs and pads (front ones didn`t need it), the rear stays for the boot, optispark for the ignition (£800+ !), had euroconnectors fitted for the radio CD which is a Sony. I am attempting to get the air condition converted - I am told it is only a valve to make it legal, but I can`t guarantee that I will have the time before the sale. However, it is around 90% certain. The only thing I haven`t been able to fix properly is the cigarette lighter, so I took a tap off the radio. As such the cigarette lighter is only good for GPS, ipod, etc. | I also have a new radio console and a spare brake power booster that I collected along the way - these will go with the sale. | As you can see from the photos, the tyres are good (they were tracked), as is the bodywork - one or two extremely minor marks, but nothing important. You have to look hard to spot them. I had a look underneath during the MOT and the exhaust is in excellent condition as well. | The car is in the Milton Keynes area, and can be viewed by arrangement. I may be able to travel a bit, as I enjoy driving it, but this will depend on work. | Please - no timewasters.
